Our 205W Mono-PERC solar panels are suitable for off-grid installations and have been manufactured with high efficiency PERC A-grade Trinasolar cells.
The low-iron solar panel glass front is more transparent and the specially textured surface of the solar panel glass refracts light back towards the solar cell to trap more light for higher light absorption, which also creates the low reflectivity properties of the solar panel glass.
The use of PERC technology, which incorporates a passivated emitter and rear cell, reflects light back into the rear of the solar cell to maximise light absorption, increasing overall energy production and efficiency.
A corrosion-resistant anodized aluminium frame surrounds the solar panel to add strength and allows for easy mounting.
An IP67 junction box, which is attached to the back of the solar panel with a weather-tight seal, has 900mm of double-insulated cable for each positive/negative and MC4 solar panel connectors. The bypass diodes in the junction box provide added protection to the solar panel when connected in series during partial shading.
When using a correctly rated MPPT charge controller, this solar panel can be used for a 12V system. A 24V or 48V system would require several panels that would need to be connected in series to increase solar voltage.
