Our 420W Mono-PERC solar panels are suitable for off-grid installations and have been manufactured with high efficiency Half Cut PERC A-grade cells.
The solar panel glass front is tempered for strength and has low-iron content givng it greater transparency for higher light transmission. Specially textured surface of the solar panel glass refracts light back towards the solar cell to trap more light for higher light absorption, which also creates the low reflectivity properties of the solar panel glass.
The use of PERC technology maximises light absorption further and half-cutting the cells halves the amount of current flowing through each cell to reduce resistive losses over a higher temperaure range, increasing overall energy production and efficiency.
A corrosion-resistant anodized aluminium frame encases the solar panel to add strength and allows for easy mounting.
IP68 junction boxes attached to the back of the solar panel provide a weather-tight seal along with 300mm of solar cable for both positive and negative connections. The bypass diodes in the junction box provide added protection to the solar panel when connected in series during partial shading.
